     Emerald Exotics has been in business since 1999 and is dedicated to herpetology, herpetoculture and nature in general.  It is of utmost importance to us that plants and animals are understood and respected the way that they need to be.  Especially in the confines of captive collections.  It is also imperative that these plants and animals are understood in the wild before they are even attempted to be kept in captivity.  Not only will there be a better knowledge for how they co-habitate, but this will also lessen the amount of errors that occur in maintaining them in captivity.  It is important to us that wildlife remain on our planet for as long as possible and in order to keep these creatures from a certain demise a lot has to be learned about them.  Captive production will not only help to stabilize their populations in the wild, by reducing exportation, but will also allow us to understand them better and keep the species in existence.

     The purpose of Emerald Exotics is to provide people with understanding and knowledge.  Our mission is to supply the market with our innovative, furniture quality custom glass enclosures as well as healthy, beautiful and hardy offspring from all of the species that we are maintaining.  We have spared no expense with our ventures and continue to expand and build the best glass caging on the market and provide excellent care for the animals as well as excellent customer service.
